This is a recipe that my friends rave about when I make this for them. Pepperoni Dip is a no brainer, I have spoken to a few of my friends that did not cook at all and I told them you do not have to be a good cook to make this dip. It only has 4 ingredients and does not require a lot of attention when it is cooking. You can make this on the stove top or in the oven, but I prefer the Crock Pot, by using this method the flavors infuse, and blend together perfectly.
When you use the Crock Pot, after the dip is done you can just keep it on warm, unlike the stove top or oven. Because in the oven it can tend to dry out and the stove top method you would have to keep reheating it. I have taken this dip to work on different occasions, for bring-ins, and holiday parties, believe me it does not last long. Using the Crock Pot at work was a great way to bring in this dip, all I had to do was plug the Crock Pot in and let the dip do its thing.
Let me tell you, when this dip is cooking the smell will drive you crazy, it smells like a Pepperoni Pizza when it is cooking and believe me you can smell this all through the home or office. CROCK POT PEPPERONI DIP
INGREDIENTS
2 80Z PACKS OF PEPPERONI
2 CANS OF CREAM OF MUSHROOM SOUP
2 80Z PACKS/BRICKS OF CREAM CHEESE
1/2 CUP OF HEAVY CREAM
DIRECTIONS
TO CROCK POT, ADD HEAVY CREAM, MUSHROOM SOUP, CREAM CHEESE, AND PEPPERONI.
COVER AND COOK ON HIGH FOR ONE HOUR, STIR DIP AND CONTINUE TO COOK ON HIGH FOR ANOTHER HOUR.
STIR DIP AND TURN CROCK POT ON LOW AND LET SIMMER FOR ANOTHER HOUR. TOTAL COOKING TIME IS 3 HOURS.
STIR WELL AND SERVE WITH YOUR FAVORITE CHIPS OR CRACKERS.
IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MORE, USE EQUAL AMOUNTS OF ALL INGREDIENTS, FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU USE 3 PACKS OF PEPPERONI, THEN USE 3 PACKS OF CREAM CHEESE AND 3 CANS OF SOUP, AND ¼ CUP OF HEAVY CREAM. THIS RECIPE IS SO EASY, YOU CANNOT MESS THIS UP. ENJOY!!!
